Dr Aidan Kelly
Dr Aidan Kelly is a Clinical Psychologist registered in the UK. Aidan received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2015 and is a member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists UK (ACP-UK), the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the British Association for Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS). Dr Aidan Kelly has a background in Child and Adolescent Mental Health as well as working with gender diverse young people and adults. Dr Aidan Kelly has been working in gender services since 2016 and has specialist skills in the assessments of gender identity needs and making recommendations for gender affirming medical treatments, where appropriate, for children and adults. Dr Aidan Kelly is the Clinical Director of Gender Plus service, which operates in line with NHS service specifications for gender services.
Fabiola works alongside Dr Aidan Kelly to run a weekly gender clinic in Dublin since April 2022 and has developed links with local stakeholder agencies and supports to ensure the holistic needs of transgender and gender diverse young people and adults.
Paolo Trenta
Paolo Trenta is a dramatherapist and a psychologist registered with the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT) and the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Paolo graduated with a Master’s degree in Dramatherapy from the National University of Ireland Maynooth and an honour degree in psychology from the Dublin Business School. For the past several years, Paolo has been working in public adult mental health and special needs services and with children, young people and their families in private practice, dealing with a range of emotional and mental health struggles. In therapy, Paolo offers a safe, non-judgmental space, bringing openness, acceptance and empathy to the people he works with.
Paolo works alongside Dr Fabiola Neto to provide psychological support and psychotherapy to adults, couples, and families in Dublin at Tree of Life Clinic or online.
Josi Borges
Josi Borges is a psychologist graduated from the University of Alfenas in Brazil, where she also obtained a Specialisation in Analytical Psychology. She moved to Ireland in early 2017, where she obtained her Master (MSc) in Comparative Social Change offered by the schools of sociology at Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin, focusing on contemporary migration movements. Josi currently works in a National Centre for Survivors of Torture in Ireland as a psychotherapist providing therapy for refugees and asylum seekers who are survivors of torture from different countries and backgrounds.
Josi is currently undertaking a clinical training in psychoanalysis offered by The Freud Lacan institute (Fli) in Dublin. She is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Josi uses the same approach of Dr Fabiola Neto – psychoanalysis – to deliver psychological support and psychotherapy working alongside Fabiola in Dublin at the Tree of Life Clinic or online.
